2022 Week 2 Dynasty Recap: Blowout Sale

The closest game this week was a crazy 20 point difference! Let's see some hustle people!! Here are your week 2 results:

Kade's Dawgs 97.34 over Fantasy Fairies 77.83

Curt increased his win percentage with this one, led by the reigning MVP runner-up, Cooper Kupp. Though he did leave Tua (25.43) on the bench, it didn't make much of a difference. On the plus side for Ryan, Herbert, Swift and Thomas are looking like a formidable trio going forward.

Michael Style 101.45 over Ferocious Felines 78.00

OK, who had Michael Style starting the year 2-0 and one of those wins being over his biggest rival who has pretty much dominated the rivalry since the dawn of time (or, you know, the dawn of this league)? Alex used a red-hot Amon-Ra St. Brown to plow through the Ferocious Felines. Christian Kirk had a nice two touchdown outing for Fred, but the rest of the team looked flat. With Derek Carr outperforming Brady for the second week in a row perhaps a changing of the guard is in order?

Fear Itself 116.99 over Space Rangers 90.26

You know when you take a test and leave feeling like "wow I really nailed that" and then your grade comes back and you end up with an F? That's how I feel about this week. I felt good about my lineup but by week’s end I could see that I made three wrong choices and it cost me nearly 27 points and the win. Looks like Aaron Jones wanted to shut all the haters up and he waited until the week he played me…love it.

ay_Bilat 135.20 over Noobmaster69 105.38

Stefon Diggs was our Player of the Week with 31.4 points. He accounted for almost a third of Simon's points, unfortunately for both of them it wasn't enough to get the win. Kind of difficult to win when your opponent's team doesn't have a single player score below 5 points and finishes with two of the top 7 players for the week.

NUKEM 134.29 over Shenron’s Wish 94.03

Shenron's Wish failed to capitalize on Jaylen Waddle's 26.8 point explosion. He kind of fell into the same boat as Simon. His opponent had all but two players with 8+ points and 6 of them went for double-digits. It's hard to compete with that. Clearly the loss of T.J. Watt did little to deter NUKEM. Neither did the reigning MVP, Jonathan Taylor, finishing with the lowest score on the team.

Here’s a look ahead at next week:

NUKEM (2-0) vs Michael Style (2-0)

Two of the four remaining undefeated teams come to a head here. Pastor Dad is up 5-1 in the series with his only loss coming back in 2019, so he actively has a four game win streak in this series.

Fear Itself (2-0) vs Noobmaster69 (0-2)

The Brothers Grimm at it again. Nathan leads the series 4-2 and he swept Simon last year. Some added pressure for Simon, lose this one and you tie Cody for longest losing streak in league history.

ay_Bilat (2-0) vs Shenron's Wish (0-2)

The tables have certainly shifted after last season. These two started out as the top two teams in the West, but Bryar has since taken a different trajectory. Trey also owns the series 5-1.

Kade's Dawgs (1-1) vs Ferocious Felines (0-2)

This series is tied up 2-2. But the most recent win was in the first round of the playoffs last year with Fred winning by just 3.86 points in a thrilling finish.

Space Rangers (1-1) vs Fantasy Fairies (0-2)

Can't say much about my winning percentage here, but I will point out that I have the 4th highest scoring team in the league right now and Ryan has the 6th highest, so we have the potential makings of an exciting matchup.
