2023 Draft Board: Running Backs

The below information I included in the QB draft board yesterday, I'm going to include it for every board, but it will be identical on each.

If you've ever read one of my draft board articles before then you have an idea of what you'll see below, but there is a slight change. If you haven't read them, quick explanation, I use stats, athletic testing, past performance from current pro players, and formulas to try and determine the chances a prospect in the current draft has at succeeding as a pro. In the past I used a "PSR", and an "A Met" and "S Met" to give every player a round grade. I still use all three of those, but it's put into a formula to determine a Score, which is on a 0-100 scale. The scores differ by position, so before each draft board I will put what the high score was between the 2021 and 2022 drafts at that position. And at the bottom you will see a small blurb I wrote up for each position.

High Score: 87.00

My Take: I think this RB class has the potential to be as good as the 2017 class. Spears scored higher than Robinson, but there's definitely no way I would take him over Robinson. I love Spears though and I would happily make him the second RB drafted. The last thing I'll say is I don't get the love for Jahmyr Gibbs. I'm a huge Alabama fan, those are the games I make sure to watch. Having watched him all last season all I saw was someone who seemed afraid to run the ball. He wasn't even the best back on the field for Bama (Jase McClellan was in my opinion). I would liken him more to a Nyheim Hines, than an Alvin Kamara.
