Lance's 2024 Week 15 Predictions

Every week I’ll be putting out my game predictions. As usual, I’ll start with my picks:

Head-to-Head record: 139-69

Note on my Numbers: This note is a continued look at the record for the teams that take all five categories in their matchup. If that doesn't sound familiar to you go check my week 9 or 10 articles, and my week 13 article. This is now 49-21 since week 7. And when looking at teams that have all five categories alongside their Spread, teams that are favored by 7.5 or more are now 15-2, teams favored by 3.5 to 6.5 are now 24-5, teams favored by 2.5 are 3-7, teams that fall in the -1.5 to 1.5 range are 5-3, and teams that are underdogs by 2.5 or more are 2-4.

My parents are in town visiting, so I have not had a lot of free time. I got all of my numbers and the games picked when we got home this afternoon. It's now 4 hours to kickoff and an hour away from dinner being ready, so I'm just putting the bare minimum explanation for each game below.

LA Rams over San Francisco

San Fran has all 5 categories, but they're favored by 2.5, so I'm going with the Rams.

Carolina over Dallas

Dallas has the edge by my numbers, but I like Carolina in this one.

Kansas City over Cleveland

KC has the edge by my numbers.

Miami over Houston

Houston has all 5 categories, but they're favored by 2.5, so I'm going with Miami.

NY Jets over Jacksonville

The Jets have the edge by my numbers.

Washington over New Orleans

Washington has the edge by my numbers.

Baltimore over NY Giants

Baltimore has the edge by my numbers.

Cincinnati over Tennessee

Cincinnati has the edge by my numbers.

Arizona over New England

Arizona has all 5 categories, and is favored by 5.5.

Denver over Indianapolis

Denver has all 5 categories, and is favored by 3.5.

Detroit over Buffalo

Detroit has all 5 categories, and is favored by 1.5. This was my preseason Super Bowl pick and it still held up after every team had played 9 games, so I'm pretty excited to see this one.

LA Chargers over Tampa Bay

Tampa Bay has all 5 categories, but they're underdogs (+2.5), so I'm going with the Chargers.

Philadelphia over Pittsburgh

Philly has all 5 categories, and is favored by 4.5.

Green Bay over Seattle

Seattle has all 5 categories, but they're underdogs (+2.5), so I'm going with Green Bay.

Minnesota over Chicago

Minnesota has all 5 categories, and is favored by 6.5.

Atlanta over Las Vegas

Atlanta has the edge by my numbers.

Fantasy Starts and Sits

Under Construction: This segment wasn't going well and a big part of that is it takes quite a bit of research time that I can't currently dedicate to it. I'm working on creating a program that can do the digging for me. This won't be back until next season.
