Lance's 2025 Draft Grades

There's a long convoluted way my scoring system works for the draft grades, but all you really need to know is that every pick gets a score between -2 and 3. That score is based on when they were drafted compared to my draft grade, and sometimes I'll give an extra point if I really like the match with the team. Each team has an average score that I use to determine the grades. You'll see all of that below, as well as my favorite and least favorite pick for each team.
Team: New York Giants
Score: 1.57 Grade: A-
Favorite Pick: DL Darius Alexander (Toledo) 5th Round
This was a difficult choice to make. There wasn't a pick of there's that I didn't like. I brought this choice down to Alexander and 5th round pick Marcus Mbow. Mbow addressed the bigger area of concern, but Alexander is an animal. Adding him to a front seven that will now feature him along with Brian Burns, Abdul Carter, Kayvon Thibodeaux, and Dexter Lawrence might be enough in itself to pull the Giants out of the NFC East cellar.
Least Favorite Pick: If I have to nitpick...
Like I said above, there wasn't a pick they made I didn't like. However, there was one pick they didn't make that bothered me. They did not draft a Tackle (no I don't view Mbow as a Tackle). They didn't even have to spend a high pick on one, just adding one for some training camp competition to back up Andrew Thomas. Thomas is a very talented Tackle, but when he's hurt, their offense struggles, and he's been under 600 snaps (per PFF) in each of the last two seasons.
Team: Jacksonville Jaguars
Score: 1.33 Grade: B+
Favorite Pick: OG Wyatt Milum (West Virginia) 3rd Round
My top Guard, and the only one to receive a Day 1 grade. They landed him in the third round in an effort to start fixing the line in front of Trevor Lawrence. Great pick.
Least Favorite Pick: DB Caleb Ransaw (Tulane) 3rd Round
I don't have a high grade on Ransaw, but that aside, the Jaguars needed to do more to address their O-Line and they needed to do it early. Milum was a fantastic piece to that, but Left Tackle is a big time concern to me. I wanted to see them take a Tackle at pick 5, they traded up for Hunter instead, and I get why, but don't not address it at all after that. Charles Grant was still sitting there when they took Ransaw, that's what makes the Ransaw pick my least favorite for them.
Team: Atlanta Falcons
Score: 1.20 Grade: B
Favorite Pick: S Xavier Watts (Notre Dame) 3rd Round
I liked the way Atlanta went about the start of their draft, they had a need at Edge Rusher, they made sure to get two very talented guys in the first round (after trading back in). And you know what goes well with a new pass rush that's hopefully putting lots of pressure on the opposing QBs? Guys who can take the ball away. Watts is a ballhawk, Bowman is too. Out of all of the defensive players that will be in the running for DROY this year, Watts is a sneaky longshot to keep an eye on.
Least Favorite Pick: OT Jack Nelson (Wisconsin) 7th Round
Listing a 7th round pick might seem a little ridiculous, but when you have 5 total picks you need to make the most out of each of them. Nelson had an undrafted grade for me, so Atlanta did not make the most out of this pick. Don't worry, this is the only team with a 7th rounder as my least favorite pick.
Team: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Score: 1.17 Grade: B
Favorite Pick: Edge David Walker (Central Arkansas) 4th Round / DL Elijah Roberts (SMU) 5th Round
I had a Day 1 grade on Walker, and the Bucs needed to address the position, so to get that kind of value in the 4th couldn't go unnoticed here. However, Roberts was my favorite interior D-Lineman in this draft. He's actually a point of frustration for me (more on that below with Minnesota). Fantastic value in the 5th.
Least Favorite Pick: WR Emeka Egbuka (Ohio State) 1st Round
The argument I heard for this pick was "...well Mike Evans is getting old...". Ah, yes, so let's go draft a guy who plays like Chris Godwin and Jalen McMillan, that makes sense. And since heavy sarcasm doesn't always come through in text form, that's what that was.
Team: Arizona Cardinals
Score: 1.14 Grade: B
Favorite Pick: Edge Jordan Burch (Oregon) 3rd Round
I've read some negative reviews on the Burch pick, and the thinking seems to be that Burch doesn't really fit as a stand-up Edge Rusher in their 3-4 scheme. And why not exactly? Because he's bigger? Who cares. That 279 pound man ran a 4.67 forty. Maybe the he never really reached his full potential in college was because he wasn't playing in the right scheme or in the right position within those schemes. I like the pick, especially with it being in the 3rd round.
Least Favorite Pick: Not taking O-Line until round 6
Arizona didn't address Tackle. They didn't really address Guard either. But this one is worse than my feelings on what the Giants did in my opinion, because you're paying your Quarterback a little over $43 million this year. You have a subpar Right Tackle who struggles to stay on the field, you have two average to below average starting Guards, and once again you're going to expect Kyler Murray to take care of everything while running for his life.
Team: Cleveland Browns
Score: 1.14 Grade: B
Favorite Pick: QB Dillon Gabriel (Oregon) 3rd Round
I'm going to go ahead and say it now, I think Gabriel wins the starting job, and I think he holds onto it through next year's draft. Gabriel is a smart, accurate, rhythmic thrower, with good athleticism. I LOVE his fit in Stefanski's offense. This defense is built for a playoff run, we saw them do that two years ago with the right passer running the offense. The competition will be stiffer this time around, but I wouldn't rule them out with Gabriel, or even Shedeur Sanders, at the helm. My only concern with Sanders in Stefanski's offense is that he doesn't have the mobility to go with his passing intelligence and accuracy.
Least Favorite Pick: DL Mason Graham (Michigan) 1st Round
I get trading out of pick 2 to add more picks, even if it meant passing on a generational talent like Hunter. But were there really no other teams that wanted to move up to 5? I had a Day 3 grade on Graham. I think he's overrated. I think he's going to get a ton of hype for average play too. Meanwhile, they might have been able to slide back to say 12? And they could've taken a Corner like Jahdae Barron, or a Wide Receiver like Egbuka or Golden.
Team: Kansas City Chiefs
Score: 1.14 Grade: B
Favorite Pick: Edge Ashton Gillotte (Louisville) 3rd Round
I don't understand how Gillotte flew so far under the radar. He was very productive at Louisville, but had next to hype coming out. So, going into the Combine and his Pro Day I thought, "this guy is going to bomb these drills." He jumped 36.5" in the vert and 10' in the broad at the Combine, and then from what I could find, he ran a 4.65 forty, 4.35 short shuttle and 6.94 3-cone at his pro day. All of which show solid to very good athleticism. I had a Day 1 grade on him. I wasn't seeing his name popping up before day 3 in mocks. The Chiefs got a stud in the third round and everybody just let it happen.
Least Favorite Pick: DL Omarr Norman-Lott (Tennessee) 2nd Round
One of the biggest reaches of Day 2. He wasn't productive. He's not some kind of freak athlete. I had a Day 3 grade on him, but I even felt that was kind of high.
Team: New York Jets
Score: 1.14 Grade: B
Favorite Pick: OT Armand Membou (Missouri) 1st Round
Membou paired up with Fashanu should give the Jets their bookend Tackles for years to come. Great decision. I love it even more post-draft because they didn't worry about Quarterback. They focused on putting Justin Fields in a better position, to give him a legitimate shot at succeeding. If it doesn't work out, then they have a good foundation for the guy they draft next year. The Mason Taylor pick was another win in that column.
Least Favorite Pick: Only drafting Arian Smith at Receiver
And to add to that "only", he wasn't taken until the 4th round. Sure, this draft wasn't as loaded at the position as it was last year, but there were still some gems out there. Great job addressing the blocking in front of Justin Fields, but a need like they have at Receiver should be like throwing spaghetti at the ceiling, grab a handful and see what sticks.
Team: Los Angeles Chargers
Score: 1.11 Grade: B
Favorite Pick: WR Tre Harris (Ole Miss) 2nd Round
There were 5 or 6 Receiver picks over the weekend that made me go, "oh, man, I really like that pick." The Chargers made two of them (Lambert-Smith being the other). Harris, as long as he is healthy, will be a fantastic addition to Herbert's arsenal. He's big and explosive, with good hands.
Least Favorite Pick: I've got nothing
A 6th round pick on Branson Taylor got the lowest score for them, but he figures to be nothing more than a depth piece, or potential practice squad player while they work on developing him into a backup.
Team: Las Vegas Raiders
Score: 1.09 Grade: B
Favorite Pick: OT Charles Grant (William & Mary) 3rd Round
The Jaguars got knocked for a pick because they passed on him, so he had to end up as my favorite pick for the team that drafted him right? Right. Uber-productive (take that term how you will) Tackle at the FCS level. Earned himself a Day 1 grade on my board after solid athletic testing. With the Kolton Miller contract drama, I love the pick even more.
Least Favorite Pick: What do you expect me to say?
I loved this first draft by Pete Carroll and team. There was a reason why I suggested the Raiders should hire Carroll. Experience. And it showed out in his first draft with them. Did I have some players graded higher than guys he took at the same position in certain spots? Sure. But for the most part, the grades weren't that far apart and the difference there could very well be them taking the guy they feel fits their system better.
Team: New England Patriots
Score: 1.09 Grade: B
Favorite Pick: WR Kyle Williams (Washington State) 3rd Round / C Jared Wilson (Georgia) 3rd Round
I had a Day 1 grade on Wilson, and Williams (Day 2 grade) was my sleeper at the Receiver position. Both guys are studs, they should both make an immediate impact, and they'll both play an integral role in Drake Maye's development. Also, shoutout to Will Campbell. I may view him as a Guard and have a Day 2 grade on him, but that post-pick on-stage interview was one of the best ones I've ever seen, it was hard not to list him here.
Least Favorite Pick: DL Joshua Farmer (Florida State) 4th Round
Pretty simple, I had an undrafted grade on him. If those guys are showing up in the 6th or 7th round the score they receive isn't as harsh, but this was a solid -2 which was the only negative for the Pats' results.
Team: Chicago Bears
Score: 1.00 Grade: B
Favorite Pick: CB Zah Frazier (UTSA) 5th Round
Luther Burden was an extremely close second. I didn't want to believe the hype leading up to the draft that Burden wasn't going to go in the first round, but lo and behold, he slid into the second, and the Bears got a ridiculously upsetting steal (I'm a Vikings fan in case you forgot). However, Zah Frazier (another player I really wanted the Vikings to take and instead they traded back) had a Day 1 grade as a Slot Corner and Day 2 grade as an outside Corner on my boards. Kyler Gordon already mans the slot for them, so he'll likely play outside, but I don't see a problem with that.
Least Favorite Pick: DL Shemar Turner (Texas A&M) 2nd Round
The most overrated interior D-Lineman in my opinion. At one point he was getting first-round hype. I don't see it, and I don't get it. They crushed it with the Burden pick in this same round, but I think they blew it with this selection.
Team: Pittsburgh Steelers
Score: 1.00 Grade: B
Favorite Pick: RB Kaleb Johnson (Iowa) 3rd Round
Love the match. Day 2 grade on Johnson for me and the "slow" forty time didn't take that away from him. He's got size, he's got power, he just screams Pittsburgh Steeler. He's also a great fit in an Arthur Smith offense.
Least Favorite Pick: Edge Jack Sawyer (Ohio State) 4th Round
Choosing to list an Edge Rusher that the Steelers selected while they still employ Mike Tomlin as their head coach might be one of the dumber decisions I make in this article. However, Sawyer had an undrafted grade for me, and for that reason he had the worst score out of anyone Pitt selected. I also have concerns about where he'll play in their system. He doesn't exactly have the size to play hand in the dirt, and having watched him play, I don't see the athleticism that would enable him to come off the edge standing up.
Team: Washington Commanders
Score: 1.00 Grade: B
Favorite Pick: WR Jaylin Lane (Virginia Tech) 4th Round
Olamide Zaccheaus and Dyami Brown combined for 814 yards and 4 touchdowns on 75 receptions last year. Both are gone. Washington didn't go and grab another speedy pass catcher in free agency, so snagging Lane (4.34 forty) in the fourth was a solid replacement plan.
Least Favorite Pick: No Front Four
This D-Line of theirs needed some higher end talent influx and they just didn't make it happen. Not a single Edge Rusher or interior D-Lineman available at any of their draft slots felt like a great fit and value?
Team: Philadelphia Eagles
Score: 0.80 Grade: B-
Favorite Pick: Edge Antwaun Powell-Ryland (Virginia Tech) 6th Round
Waiting until the 6th round to address your need off the edge is a fun little game of chicken. Snagging Powell-Ryland with that pick was amazing value. I had a high Day 2 grade on him.
Least Favorite Pick: If I had to nitpick...
They took two Tackles (Myles Hinton and Cameron Williams) in the 6th round, both of which I had undrafted grades on. That's it, that's the only knock I have on their draft that totaled 11 picks. Not to mention, they signed Hollin Pierce, a guy I had a Day 1 grade on, as an undrafted free agent, so way to cancel it out completely.
Team: New Orleans Saints
Score: 0.78 Grade: B-
Favorite Pick: RB Devin Neal (Kansas) 6th Round
I had a Day 2 grade on Neal. Comparing him to their other recent RB selection, Kendre Miller, I'm much higher on Neal. I like the potential he offers this offense as a spell-back for Kamara, and potential replacement for him down the road.
Least Favorite Pick: QB Tyler Shough (Louisville) 2nd Round
Whatever reason they had for passing on Shedeur Sanders, I'm fine with, I don't think he would've been a good fit in Kellen Moore's offense anyway. But selecting Shough in the second round was a gigantic reach, and major overcorrection. He was in college for 7 seasons. He spent his first 2 sitting behind Justin Herbert, but even if you eliminate those he only had one productive season in the other 5. Do you know why? Because he was constantly hurt. This past season he had 424 drop backs (per PFF), the other four seasons combined he had 653. Absolute whiff. They should've been targeting Dillon Gabriel.
Team: Tennessee Titans
Score: 0.78 Grade: B-
Favorite Pick: WR Elic Ayomanor (Stanford) 4th Round
I love that Tennessee took Cam Ward, and then made sure to add 3 new pass catching options at the start of Day 3. All due respect to Dike, I had a higher grade on Ayomanor, and I love the fit.
Least Favorite Pick: Edge Oluwafemi Oladejo (UCLA) 2nd Round
Kind of nitpicking. I had a day 3 grade on Oladejo, and Edge Rusher was a big need, so it's not really anything against him, it's what they decided to do at the start of the second round. As much as I liked the Ayomanor pick on day 3, they had a shot at Luther Burden at pick 35 and instead they traded the pick away. That's a miss.
Team: Cincinnati Bengals
Score: 0.67 Grade: C+
Favorite Pick: RB Tahj Brooks (Texas Tech) 6th Round
Such a deep Running Back class led to some talented backs sliding. I covered Neal above for the Saints. Brooks was another one. He was my sleeper RB. A bell-cow for Texas Tech. Great athleticism, especially on the agility drills. They already have a young back in Chase Brown, and they still have Zack Moss, but I wouldn't be surprised if Brooks is able to weasel his way into the rotation by the end of the year.
Least Favorite Pick: Edge Shemar Stewart (Texas A&M) 1st Round
This was very clearly their biggest need, but Stewart is not the route I would've gone if I was them. Obviously he has the athleticism, but he's still raw in my book and they need someone who is going to make an immediate impact. I, personally, would've gone Ezeiruaku instead.
Team: Green Bay Packers
Score: 0.63 Grade: C+
Favorite Pick: CB Micah Robinson (Tulane) 7th Round
This pick is based mostly off of score. I had no idea who this guy was. He wasn't invited to the Combine, so as I do every year for players that weren't invited but got drafted, I ran him through my system. The guy ended up with a Day 1 grade. Not only is that insane because it rarely happens with the non-Combine-invitees, but Corner tends to be one of the more difficult positions to earn a Day 1 grade in for my system. Bonus, Corner was a big need for Green Bay.
Least Favorite Pick: Edge Collin Oliver (Oklahoma State) 5th Round
I really liked Oliver, especially as a pure pass rusher, but I don't think I like the fit for him in this system. I would've preferred to see him land somewhere else. Very talented pass rusher though, so if they can make it work, then they got a gem in the 5th round.
Team: Detroit Lions
Score: 0.57 Grade: C+
Favorite Pick: Edge Ahmed Hassanein (Boise State) 6th Round
Love the story. Love the landing spot. Didn't love the fact that Detroit waited until the 6th round to address the spot opposite Hutch, but I do love that fact for this kid.
Least Favorite Pick: DL Tyleik Williams (Ohio State) 1st Round
Had a day 3 grade on Williams. They could've had Ezeiruaku at this pick, but instead decided to go this route. If they really wanted to go interior D-Line, they should've gone with Darius Alexander.
Team: Houston Texans
Score: 0.56 Grade: C+
Favorite Pick: WR Jayden Higgins (Iowa State) 2nd Round
I'm high on Higgins. Love the size-speed combination he offers. I would've pulled the trigger on him in the first if I was a GM. I also love the idea of him lined up opposite Nico Collins.
Least Favorite Pick: WR Jaylin Noel (Iowa State) 3rd Round
I like Noel. I really do. This one killed me from a dynasty fantasy football perspective mostly. Noel had the potential to land with a Receiver needy team and be that 3rd round guy who takes off because he's the best option the team that drafted him had. Instead, he's with Houston. He'll have to compete for targets with, but not limited to: Nico Collins, the aforementioned Jayden Higgins, Christian Kirk, Dalton Schultz, Joe Mixon, and, whenever he is healthy again, Tank Dell.
Team: Baltimore Ravens
Score: 0.55 Grade: C+
Favorite Pick: Edge Mike Green (Marshall) 2nd Round
I didn't know about the character concerns until they were mentioned on day 2 of the draft. I'm also not here to play judge and jury. From a purely football standpoint, Green is an incredible talent, and if he stays out of trouble, this will be the steal of the draft.
Least Favorite Pick: OT Emery Jones Jr. (LSU) 3rd Round
The classic third round pick that I had an undrafted grade on. Tackle was a need, so I don't see a problem with the position, but the execution was poor based on my board.
Team: Los Angeles Rams
Score: 0.50 Grade: C+
Favorite Pick: TE Terrance Ferguson (Oregon) 2nd Round
Not many picks to go on, and none of them scored more than 1 point, but from a need-execution standpoint, I really like this pick. Ferguson was my TE3, and he showed off some pretty good athleticism at the Combine. He should get an opportunity to make an immediate impact for the Rams.
Least Favorite Pick: Edge Josaiah Stewart (Michigan) 3rd Round
The only pick of theirs to not score 1 point, and that's because he had an undrafted grade on my board. Also a little disappointed that they didn't address a more prevalent need here in Corner.
Team: Seattle Seahawks
Score: 0.36 Grade: C
Favorite Pick: S Nick Emmanwori (South Carolina) 2nd Round
Freak athlete, and the only Safety I had a Day 1 grade on, so I have no problem with Seattle trading up to get him. I really like his fit in Macdonald's defense too.
Least Favorite Pick: TE Elijah Arroyo (Miami) 2nd Round
I don't get the hype around Arroyo, and I had an undrafted grade on him. Plus, they have Noah Fant, so to me, this was a luxury pick in the 2nd round for a team that missed the playoffs last year.
Team: Dallas Cowboys
Score: 0.33 Grade: C
Favorite Pick: Edge Donovan Ezeiruaku (Boston College) 2nd Round
Directly below this you'll see their first-round pick, but I gotta give them credit for their Day 2 draft, cause they knocked it out of the park with Ezeiruaku and Shavon Revel. Out of all of the Edge Rushers that went in round 1, and all of the teams that needed to address the position, I can't believe Ezeiruaku didn't go. Steal.
Least Favorite Pick: OG Tyler Booker (Alabama) 1st Round
After his abysmal showing at the Combine he wound up with an Undrafted grade on my board and I thought there was no way he'd go in the first. But here we are. For my dynasty team's sake (I have Javonte Williams), I really hope he can clear a running lane out consistently for me this season. I don't think he pans out as a pro though.
Team: Minnesota Vikings
Score: 0.20 Grade: C-
Favorite Pick: WR Tai Felton (Maryland) 3rd Round
I wanted the Vikings to take Luther Burden or Jayden Higgins in the first round so bad, but they went Guard (a position I thought had way better value in the 3rd and 4th rounds). They did get me to jump upright on the couch and start fist pumping when they took Felton though. I got to watch him at Maryland a few times and I really liked what I saw. Good size, solid hands, and in the words of my father-in-law, he's just a gamer. Plus, he has better speed than I expected.
Least Favorite Pick: DL Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins (Georgia) 5th Round
First of all, how dare you. Do you know what other Defensive Lineman went in this round (exactly 20 picks later)? Elijah Roberts did. If I'm right about Roberts (and about Ingram-Dawkins who I had an undrafted grade on), then I will probably never forgive you.
Team: San Francisco 49ers
Score: 0.18 Grade: C-
Favorite Pick: OG Connor Colby (Iowa) 7th Round
I mentioned it on my draft board, I believe Colby's value was hurt by him being moved out to Tackle in 2022. He's a Guard. If the team drafting him sticks him at Guard and leaves him there, they'll be getting a solid starter for the next decade. I'd like to see him win the starting job opposite Puni, giving the Niners a young starting duo inside.
Least Favorite Pick: Edge Mykel Williams (Georgia) 1st Round
Anytime you take a player I have an undrafted grade on in the first or second round, they're going to end up in this position. The Niners did it with both picks (Alfred Collins also had an undrafted grade), so I gave the honor to the higher pick. Williams was all hype. I watched several Georgia games, and at no point was I ever like, "oh man, you guys gotta start blocking Williams." He had a below average pressure rate. But he's a former 5-star recruit who played at Georgia, so that apparently wins out in decision making.
Team: Buffalo Bills
Score: 0.00 Grade: C-
Favorite Pick: Edge Landon Jackson (Arkansas) 3rd Round
After his insane Combine I thought for sure he'd be gone in the 2nd round, with an outside chance he'd slip into the backend of round 1. So, the fact that Buffalo was able to address a major need by landing him in the 3rd was phenomenal. Now if their gamble on Bosa results in him getting hurt, they'll still have a presence opposite Rousseau.
Least Favorite Pick: DL Deone Walker (Kentucky) 4th Round
Undrafted grade. Pretty bad athletic testing plummeted his stock for me. You might be thinking, "but he's a nose, he just needs to eat up space." You still need to be at least a little athletic, and I'd also like to see some strength shown if you're going to make that argument. His 22 reps on the bench were not it. Personally, I'd like to see them move away from the bench and to a more dynamic strength test, like kettlebells, cause it matches up with playing the game a bit better, but the bench is what we have to go on.
Team: Carolina Panthers
Score: 0.00 Grade: C-
Favorite Pick: WR Tetairoa McMillan (Arizona) 1st Round
Study habits aside, McMillan is a large physical target on the outside, to go with another large physical target in Xavier Legette, add in Jalen Coker in the slot, and Bryce Young has a young talented trio to grow with.
Least Favorite Pick: Edge Nic Scourton (Texas A&M) 2nd Round
They kind of saved this by selecting Umanmielen in the next round, but I don't view him as a high-end starter either. Maybe it's a Texas A&M thing, but Scourton went from a promising, rising star at Purdue, to a dud at A&M in one season. Pretty crazy. I would've liked to see him run too.
Team: Indianapolis Colts
Score: 0.00 Grade: C-
Favorite Pick: RB DJ Giddens (Kansas State) 5th Round
Finally, a Running Back worth handcuffing Jonathan Taylor with. And the fantasy community collectively breathed a sigh of relief.
Least Favorite Pick: OT Jalen Travis (Iowa State) 4th Round
Undrafted grade, first and foremost. Great size, but the athleticism was meh, and the college production (again take that how you will with O-Lineman) was hit and miss.
Team: Miami Dolphins
Score: -0.25 Grade: D
Favorite Pick: No one
It's not that there wasn't a player with at least a score of 1, it's that I don't particularly have strong feelings about any of those players. I'd like to say, hey, great job drafting a QB for additional Tagovailoa insurance, but they chose another QB that I had an undrafted grade on (same with when they took Skylar Thompson), Quinn Ewers, who also happens to be brittle (referencing Tagovailoa here). Clearly they have a type.
Least Favorite Pick: DL Jordan Phillips (Maryland) 5th Round
Wasn't a big fan of the Kenneth Grant pick in the first round, but Phillips had the worse score, so he gets the title. Still, two swings on the interior D-Line and neither one makes me think they got their next Christian Wilkins.
Team: Denver Broncos
Score: -0.29 Grade: D
Favorite Pick: RB R.J. Harvey (UCF) 2nd Round
Despite having a Day 2 grade on Harvey, and having him 4th on my RB draft board, I did not expect to see him go in the 2nd round. I'm thrilled he did. He will be given a legitimate shot now to start.
Least Favorite Pick: WR Pat Bryant (Illinois) 3rd Round
Undrafted grade on him, which lands him here. But there's also the fact that there wasn't any part of his build or film that screamed day 2 talent to me. Just feels like a reach.
