Dynasty League 2026 Week 6: Well that was Ugly
The last time every team in the league scored under 130 points was championship weekend back in 2023, which was before we went to a modern scoring system. So yes, this week was pretty ugly. Also, a REMINDER for everyone, WE HAVE AUTO-SUBS ENABLED! There have been several weeks now, where an injured player has been left in a lineup. So, if you have a player that carries an injury designation and you don’t think you’ll be able to check your lineup before their game to confirm if they’re out and swap someone in, you can go into the mobile app (haven’t found a way to do it from a computer), click on the player and at the bottom you’ll see the “auto-sub” option, click that and then the player you would like subbed in. It will only make the change IF the current started ends up “out.” Bryar was able to take advantage of it this week, and so now we know what it looks like. Basically, Warren got ruled out, the mobile app showed his auto sub’s point total (Goedert) below Warren’s name, and once all of the games fully completed it actually made the swap, so it shows Goedert’s name in his Tight End slot if you go and look at the scoring now. Here are your week 6 results:
Michael Style 119.00 over Storm Surge 111.00
There’s something unnerving about the score for this one... Definitely our game of the week. Caleb Williams returned, but it was old reliable, Jonathan Taylor, and his trusty sidekick, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, getting the job done. On the other side of the field, Drake Maye and Malik Nabers continued their hot streaks, but a rusty return to the field by A.J. Brown caused the Storm Surge to fall short of pulling off the upset.
The Empire 90.60 over NUKEM 79.14
This one made the board for lowest scoring matchups, coming in at #9! While it felt like neither of them wanted to take control of the West, Bryar had it thrust upon him by default. Bryar’s team had a nice consistency to it this week, seven of his players scored in the 8-13 range. Rob was on the other end of that, two of his guys went for 20+, while six of them scored 5 or less.
Fear Itself 115.00 over Fantasy Fairies 98.62
After scoring over 140 in three straight games, Fear Itself finally came back down to Earth. It was bound to happen eventually. I’m sure Nathan is grateful it happened in a week when his opponent struggled more than he did. With Gibbs on bye, and Warren and Nacua crashing, he relied on Matthew Golden to carry him to a win. Ryan ran the LA Rams’ 13 personnel offense, and it helped him to his highest point total since week 2. I would even go as far as to say he ran it better than the Rams have this season, but it still wasn’t enough to help him get a win.
ay_Bilat 107.78 over Space Rangers 88.12
Down by 6 with one player left on Monday night? Just make sure that one player is CMC and you’re pretty much guaranteed to win by 20. At least I think that’s how the saying goes. The win should help ease the pain Trey’s team will be feeling after losing Davante Adams for several weeks. I’d like to dedicate this loss to Atlanta. I too like to make sure I don’t put the ball in the hands of my best playmaker when my team is getting destroyed and we need a major comeback. But hey, at least the Player of the Week came from my team! Thank you Kenneth Walker.
Bolt Battalion 112.36 over Ferocious Felines 87.18
Matthew needed this win in order to put himself in the playoff field, and to keep himself from being left in the dust in the race for the Central. Most of his team heard his pleas and stepped up, none more so than his 2027 team MVP, James Cook. Fred, there’s two things you can use as your silver lining: first, half of your team actually looked pretty solid, and second, even if you had managed to swap in your highest bench scorer for Moore, you still would’ve lost.
Kade’s Dawgs 123.06 over Shadow Legion 90.02
Curt is the highest scoring team for the week, taking over as the 5th highest scoring team in the league, so if he can keep himself in the running with these borderline playoff teams, he currently has the tiebreaker to beat them out. The two guys getting it done this week were a pair of 2025 rookies, Bhayshul Tuten who he took in the 2nd round of our 2025 draft, and Tyler Shough who he grabbed off the waiver wire late in the season. Prescott had one of those classic Prescott games on Sunday night, taking out Lamb’s value with it, and destroying any hopes Anthony had of a comeback. Anthony has gone from dominating the West a year ago, to holding down last place.

Here’s a look ahead at next week, which is RIVALRY WEEK!! For that reason I will include: the reason each coach gave for the other one being their rival, if there was anything given, and a little snippet about how each team has done in past rivalry weeks:
Fear Itself (6-0) vs NUKEM (3-3)
Nathan has dominated Rob 8-2. Nathan claimed Rob as a rival because he’s “known him the longest and was happy to beat him to win his first title.” Rob claimed Nathan as a rival because he “just wants to beat him each time they play.” Nathan is 5-2 in rivalry weeks, Rob is 3-4.
Michael Style (5-1) vs Space Rangers (2-4)
A nice even split in this one, 4-4. Alex and I both gave the same reason for listing each other as our rivals, “he’s my brother-in-law.” Alex is 2-5 in rivalry weeks, I am 5-2.
ay_Bilat (4-2) vs The Empire (3-3)
Trey has the lead over Bryar 9-4. Trey did not list Bryar, but Bryar listed Trey. His reasoning was twofold, “Navy vs Marines, and the early years of the league.” Trey is 5-2 in rivalry weeks, Bryar is 2-5.
Bolt Battalion (3-3) vs Kade’s Dawgs (2-4)
These two split their matchups 1-1 last year, with Matthew’s win coming in the consolation bracket. Going forward I’m going to try and manipulate the schedule so that everyone faces someone they listed as a rival, I didn’t have enough time to figure that out this year. This is one of the matchups where neither coach listed the other. Matthew lost in his first rivalry week last year, Curt is 4-3.
Storm Surge (3-3) vs Shadow Legion (2-4)
Anthony won the only matchup between these two, putting him up 1-0. Anthony put Joel down because “he’s the only person he knows personally.” And Joel put down Anthony because he “was his co-coach.” Joel is 1-1 in rivalry weeks, Anthony is 1-0.
Fantasy Fairies (2-4) vs Ferocious Felines (1-5)
Battle for the #1 pick!! Fred owns Ryan, he’s 5-0 in this series. Ryan will be the one exception to the rivalry week rule, for now anyway because he did not list anyone, he said he loves you all equally. Plus, no one listed Ryan, which I guess means the feelings are mutual. Ryan is 1-3 in rivalry weeks, Fred is 5-2.
That’s all for this week, good luck to you all in week 7!
